Before you transfer bank points
Check the destination reward before committing your points.
- Find a bookable reward. Search the exact route, dates, cabin and passenger count in the airline account.
- Read the cash component. Record taxes, carrier charges and booking fees alongside required miles.
- Confirm the local transfer partner. A bank’s partners can differ across countries, products and membership tiers.
- Check account names. Confirm the issuer’s rules for account ownership, name matching and family transfers.
- Read the ratio, minimum and increment. Include transfer fees and separate required rewards enrolment.
- Allow processing time. Availability can change while a transfer is pending. Check whether the airline offers a hold.
- Check expiry and reversibility. Read both programs’ rules before submitting. Do not assume a transfer can be undone.
- Review the final confirmation. Confirm points deducted, airline units received and destination account. Keep the reference.
Record your plan
Write down the source account, destination program, current balances, required reward amount, conversion terms, fees and intended booking deadline.
The planner applies values you enter; it does not fetch bank terms or reserve a seat.
