How it works
The British Airways Club uses Avios for reward bookings and Tier Points for status. Earning Avios does not automatically earn the same amount of Tier Points.
Earning
UK routes include BA Amex, Barclaycard Avios, eligible Amex Membership Rewards transfers, flights and travel or shopping partners.
Using rewards
Book eligible BA and partner reward flights, eligible upgrades or other rewards. Compare the Avios plus cash options and check change and cancellation fees.
Partners
BA is in oneworld. Other Avios programs, including Qatar Privilege Club, set their own redemption prices and account-linking rules.
Expiry
Keep Avios active by collecting, spending, buying or sharing at least one Avios within every 36 months under BA’s published policy.
Before you book
Companion and upgrade vouchers are separate from Avios and have their own expiry, eligible airlines and cabin restrictions.
