Flying Club guide
Virgin Atlantic · Virgin Points · SkyTeam
Virgin Atlantic’s program uses Virgin Points for rewards. Points do not expire, but reward pricing, partner availability and cash charges still matter.
How it works
Flying Club is Virgin Atlantic’s airline program. Virgin Points are the reward currency; Tier Points track membership status.
Earning
UK Virgin Atlantic Reward and Reward+ cards earn Virgin Points directly. Other routes include eligible flights and participating transfer or lifestyle partners.
Using rewards
Search Virgin-operated and eligible partner reward flights or upgrades. Compare the points required with cash charges; a points ticket is not necessarily free.
Partners
Virgin Atlantic is in SkyTeam and also has individual airline partners. Partner award prices and available seats can differ from Virgin-operated flights.
Expiry
Virgin Points do not expire. Membership inactivity and Tier Point qualification are separate policies.
Before you book
Card reward vouchers are governed by separate rules. Check passenger eligibility, the voucher’s expiry and the required cash charges before selecting a card for a voucher.
